ईडी, मुख्यालय कार्यालय, नई दिल्ली ने सुश्री संदीपा विर्क और उनके सहयोगियों के खिलाफ चल रही जांच के सिलसिले में पीएमएलए, 2002 के तहत दिल्ली और मुंबई में कई स्थानों पर 12 और 13 अगस्त 2025 को तलाशी अभियान चलाया। जांच के दौरान, उनका अवैध संपर्क कार्य के संबंध में पूर्ववर्ती रिलायंस कैपिटल लिमिटेड के पूर्व निदेशक अंगाराई नटराजन सेतुरमन के साथ संपर्क पाया गया। श्री सेतुरमन को भी रिलायंस कमर्शियल फाइनेंस लिमिटेड (आरसीएफएल) और रिलायंस कैपिटल लिमिटेड से धन के हेराफेरी में शामिल पाया गया। सुश्री संदीपा विर्क को 12/08/2025 को गिरफ्तार किया गया और सक्षम न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया गया, जिसने उन्हें 14/08/2025 तक ईडी की हिरासत में भेज दिया है। |

During investigation, she was found to be in contact with Angarai Natarajan Sethuraman, former Director of erstwhile Reliance Capital Limited regarding illegal liaising work. Sh. Sethuraman was also found to be involved in diversion of funds from Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd (RCFL) and Reliance Capital Limited. Ms. Sandeepa Virk has been arrested on 12.08.2025 and produced before the Competent Court which has granted custody to ED till 14/8/2025. |
