543 ED has arrested Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Ex. Forest Minister of Punjab under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 in relation to various irregularities committed in Forest Department, Punjab during his tenure as the Forest Minister. 544 ED has provisionally attached properties worth Rs. 5 Crore approx. in the form of 07 immovable properties and 02 bank accounts in the name of various persons viz. 546 ED has conducted follow up search operations on 16.01.2024 at 8 locations in Jaipur & Banswara, Rajasthan under the PMLA, 2002 at the residential premises of Mahesh Joshi, Ex-Minister, PHED, Government of Rajasthan, officials of PHED in addition to private individuals in the Jal Jeevan Mission Scam. During the search operations, unaccounted cash worth Rs. 39 lakh along with various incriminating documents including property details, digital evidences, mobiles etc. have been seized. 548 ED has conducted searches on 13.01.2024 under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 at 8 premises in Jabalpur, Katni, Satna and Rewa of Madhya Pradesh in the matter of M/s Jagdamba AMW Automotives Pvt. Ltd. & others. During the search, the main accused Pushpendra Singh, director of M/s Jagdamba AMW Automotives Pvt. Ltd. was arrested at Jabalpur, cash of Rs. 16 lakhs and documents of immovable properties was seized from the residential premise of Pushpendra Singh. 549 ED has arrested 05 persons namely Suresh Kumar AKA Suresh Sau, Vijay Damore, Peeraram, Pukhraj, and Arun Sharma under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 on 11.01.2024 in the matter of Paper Leak Case of Senior Teacher 2nd Grade Competitive Examination, 2022 in Rajasthan. 550 The Hon’ble PMLA Special Court, Chennai vide order dated 11.01.2024 convicted R. Sekar and K. Anwar Hussain for the offences committed under the PMLA, 2002 and sentenced them to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for 3 years and also imposed a fine of Rs. 5,000/- on each accused in the Prosecution case.
