ED, Bhopal Zonal Office  has conducted search and seizure operations under FEMA, 1999 at three premises associated with M/s Rajul Group and its partner,  Priyank Mehta, in Jabalpur on 19.03.2026, in connection with the alleged misuse of the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) for acquisition of immovable properties outside India. During the search, unaccounted cash worth Rs. 31 Lakh was seized from the premises of Priyank Mehta. ED, Bhopal Zonal Office, has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Jagdish Prasad Sarwate, former Deputy Director, Adim Jati Kalyan Vibhag (Tribal Welfare Department), Government of Madhya Pradesh, under PMLA, 2002 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Jabalpur on 18.03.2026 in a matter related to disproportionate assets case. On being called, Jagdish Sarwate appeared before Hon’ble Court and received copy of Prosecution Complaint and Relied upon documents. ED, Ranchi Zonal Office, has provisionally attached two immovable properties with a total value of Rs. 97.92 Lakh in the form of residential house in Sahebganj, Jharkhand, and a flat in Patna, Bihar,   belonging to Manoj Kumar, former Branch Manager of State Bank of India (SBI), and his family members, under PMLA, 2002  in SBI Bank Fraud case. ED, Ranchi Zonal Office, has filed a 5th Supplementary Prosecution Complaint on 17/03/2026 before the Hon’ble Special Court for PMLA Cases, Ranchi  under PMLA, 2002 in the case of Suresh Prasad Verma & others (Alamgir Alam case) in a matter related to systematic commission/ bribery racket. The Complaint arrays 14 departmental engineers and officials of the Rural Works Department (RWD), Rural Development Special Zone (RDSZ), and Jharkhand State Rural Road Development Authority (JSRRDA), Government of Jharkhand, as fresh accused (Accused Nos. 23–36), taking the total number of accused across all Prosecution Complaints in this case to 36. In a significant move to restore the Proceeds of Crime (POC) to the rightful claimants, the Hon’ble Special Judge, PMLA, Gurugram has ordered restitution of immovable properties valued at Rs.650 Crore (approx.) to 2312 genuine home buyers in the case of SRS Group vide order dated 11.03.2026.The restored properties includes flats and plots of various projects launched by SRS Group such as SRS City, SRS Pearl Floor, SRS Pearl Tower, SRS Residency, SRS Royal Hills, SRS Prime Floor, SRS Pearl Unity, SRS Affordable Housing Project, SRS Pearl Height and SRS Retreat Farms. Earlier in the case, ED had restituted 78 flats worth Rs. 20.15 Crore to genuine homebuyers. The total value of restitution/ restoration of properties in the case stands at Rs. 670 Crore (approx.).
